My Boyfriend’s birthday (meirina Dikramdhanie 0704132)

Posted by 4writingt4sk on January 31, 2008

On my boyfriend’s birthday exactly on 21 January, I gave him a little surprise. It was the first time for me since I did not do anything when my ex-boyfriend’s birthday before. I just said “Happy birthday dear. Wish u the entire best. God bless u.” there was no a present or celebration. Apparently, it was not a special day.

I have been dating with him almost 2 years. I knew him from a computer dating. We changed a telephone number each other. We began to make a call or sent message but we did not know how our appearances. Then, on 6 June, we made an appointment to meet in NHI at 10 o’clock for the first time. After we met and talked, we decided to go for a walk. We saw music in Bandung Super Mall. We went to Selasih for lunch. We enjoyed that meeting. We were falling in love at the first sight. On the afternoon when he took me home, we decided to continue the relationship until now.

A few days before my boyfriend’s birthday, his close friends (amel, riki, obay, eza) and I planned to make a surprise for him. We pretended bored to him. We would make him annoyed.

I have gathered some money for bought him a present though I had to set apart my pocket money. I gave him a black T-shirt with his favorite’s band design. I had to look for in the completely clothing company to get it. I wrapped up neatly. I stuck some ribbon on it. I put poetry as well. I wrote romantic words. Those were “You were my strength when I was weak; you were my voice when I could not speak, and you were my eyes when I could not see. You saw the best there was in me. Lifted me up when I could not reach. U gave me faith because u believed… I am everything I am… Thank you for love.

Happy birthday my sweetheart.”

It was so sweet, was not it? I gave him a cake with 19 candles on it as well. I intended to make him my own cake but I did not have cooking skill. Finally, I decided to buy a cake in bakery.

On 20 January morning, I phoned him. Then I lied to him. I said that I could not meet him for that day because I had to go to my aunt’s house. He was rather disappointed but he believed. Actually, I met with his friends in Riung Bandung. Riung Bandung is his favorite place to stay together.

On 2 o’clock, I arrived in Riung Bandung. I gathered with his friends in Riki’s house and prepared the surprise for tonight. I did not forget to take the present and the cake. The plans were I hide in Riki’s house and waited until 12 pm. On 10 pm, Obay called him and told him to come. Waiting for the peak of agenda, they would make him annoyed. Then on the 12 pm, I would Towards him while bringing the cake. His friends sang a happy birthday song. Then I said “Happy birthday Honey” and I would like to kiss his forehead. He cut the cake. Then gave me the first cake and shared other part of the cake to his friends. Finally, I would give him the present. What a good plan!

all day long my boyfriend sent message to me but I did not replay his message. He also telephoned his friends but his friend intentionally made him irritated. Until the incident that was not suspected of arriving, on 8 pm, when we were assembling, Eza said that he saw my boyfriend in Riung bandung. He also said that my boyfriend has known the plans and his looked an unhappy dog.

Finally, his friends and I moved to amel’s house for hiding. Nevertheless, what was going on? My boy friend was there. he looked at me with sharp sight. I knew he was very angry. I supposed… it was over. We visited him and asked to talk together. We gathered almost 2 hours but him and I did not speak each other. I thought the plans failed so I decided to resemble him and explained all. He even was angry and complained to me. Then he leaved us.

I was so sad whereas 2 hours again until the midnight. I was confused. Whom did I come with? I would cry… his friends cheered me. They said that he had to come back.

I was not sure but I still waited him. Evidently it was true, one hour later, he came back again but he did not approach me. I decided to approach him for the second. I tried to explain what happened. When I was talking to him, he passed out. I was shocked until I felt my heart was not beat. I cried, cried and cried. His friends attempted to awareness him but he did not weak up. I was so frightened.

Fortunately, he woke up. He hugged me while laughing. Then he said whisper “you look so cute when you are frightening. I am egoistic to confess that I am very happy. Thank you for all. I love you so much.” I have aware if I was cheated me. Oh… I am annoyed but I am glad. His friends shouted us. I stood up. I took the cake and fired the candles. We sang a happy birthday song for him. He blew the candles then cut the cake. I got the first cake. My god… It was the best I ever had.

We sang together along the trip. we slept when we got tired. finally, we arrived at Dufan. we tried the games there one by one. we stood in line and waited for the turn happily even it was boring and hot. we got on to roller coaster, niagara-water, rajawali, kora-kora, and many others. at the end, we decided to try Kicir-kicir, a new game in Dufan. Actually my friends worried because they saw kicir-kicir looked scary and dangerous. but i forced my friends to join me, i urged them bravely and i guaranteed that we would be fine! and my friends agreed.

and we got on to kicir-kicir. along the game, we screamed and screamed. but in the middle of the game, kicir-kicir was rolling higher and higher. we began to be afraid and worried. my friends were sreaming louder, others were praying and i myself felt something strange.  my head was starting confused  and my eyes were dark. at the end, i couldn’t  see anything. i passed out. i didn’t feel anything until i realized that the game had been stopped and someone woke me up.  i woke up, and i saw everybody surrounded me. they looked worried about me. and i woke up at all. i immediately felt ashamed to my friends and my teachers because at the beginning, i spiritfully forced them to get on to kicir-kicir but at the end i was weak and passed out….hehe….
